It has been reported that a local bank on Pleasant St. in Fall River was “held up” from working for a while last Thursday. The bank had just opened its doors for business as usual but at 9 AM everything came to a stop when a Gorilla came thru the door bearing gifts and dancing to the music of "Wild thing". The manager of the bank was completely taken by surprise as a 6 foot dancing gorilla took her in his arms and started to dance with her. She was crying and thanking her employees and saying she would never forget this day. She had all the tellers stop what they were doing and come help her defend herself as she did not want to be the only one with pictures of herself and the gorilla. She needed proof that this "wild thing" was really happening to her. They all gathered around the gorilla and got their pictures taken. She said she will never forget this day and she has pictures, balloons and a fond memory of all her employees who thought so highly of her as she is being transferred to another bank. Another example of the Great time and memory maker A Piece of Cake Parties can do for you.

We had an awesome Star Wars party today for Zach! Jedi Adam started with a Jedi Obstacle Course that all the kids participated and did great in! They then did some Jedi Light Saber training and then they got to practice on a special guest: Darth Vader! The kids were so excited and they all got to try some light saber battling with him. After that, there was time for pictures with the Jedi & Darth that were printed up to take home with their goody bags. Star Wars BINGO was another fun game followed by Alien Invasion target practice and finally Pin the Light Saber on YODA. A yummy Star Wars cake was served up followed by gift opening and cotton candy! Almost forgot, the really cool Glitter Tattoos for everyone. An exciting, fun party from beginning to end! Thanks Zach, hope to see you again next year!
(Last year Zach enjoyed a visit from Batman!)

Welcome to our new Party Blog and Welcome SPRING!
I'm sitting here looking out my store window and wondering if it's really Spring? It's SNOWING! I guess that's par for the course of living in New England! I've been walking a lot and noticing all the buds blossoming, birds singing so I do knowSpring is attempting to arrive!
Anyway, had a great weekend of parties: an amazing Princess Tea Party Birthday Celebration with Sleeping Beauty as our special guest! The kids had an amazing time and so did we! It's so fun watching little girls be transformed into pretty Princesses in their gowns, glass slippers and jewels! Yesterday was a SPA Makeover Party and that was also a great time! The little girls in their SPA robes, getting their mini manis and pedis and then the makeup and hair was just so cute! The before and after pictures are so awesome! The parents at this party were insisting we set up a spot in Newport to do the SPA parties (a lot of them were from the Newport area.) Same age group (6 years old) just a totally different theme. The mom said when it was over, "This was great, it really was A Piece of Cake!" I'm so glad everyone enjoyed. We also sent Dora out for a visit and she danced the entire time with the 2 year old birthday girl! I truly have the best job in the world- making kids happy and making mom's and dad's jobs easier!
Have a great day everyone!

Welcome to our new party blog! Please feel free to comment, ask questions, or request any subjects you'd like to be covered.
Let's start with St. Patty's Day. Every little leprechaun would love to find a pot of gold! Cut out a few four leaf clovers out of green construction paper and put some clues to get to each one. On the last one which you can put under their plate, tell them where the pot of gold is. Fill a little container with gold covered chocolate coins. It's special little memories like this that will last a lifetime.
One thing I do every St. Patty's day is put corned beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and of course cabbage into a crock pot in the morning. I leave it cooking on low all day and return home to a delicious St. Patty's Day dinner. I love my crock pot, truly one of the greatest kitchen inventions ever. Do you have any good crock pot recipes? I'm always looking for new ideas, please share.
Lastly, I wish each and everyone of you a very Happy St. Patrick's Day.
